Happy New YearREAD!!! READ!!! READ!!!Family involvement in reading activities can have a strong, positive impact on a child's educational achievement. Help strengthen the most important skill children can develop: Reading! FAMILY READING NIGHT JANUARY 23, 2012, 5:00 - 6:30 P.M. COME READ WITH YOUR CHILD!!
From the NurseParents: Please remember that a new medication order is required each school year for necessary medication at school. Do not send medications to school with a child. All initial medications must be checked in with the school nurse. A completed doctor’s order must be received prior to any medications being administered at school. If you know your child will be taking medications for this school year, you may pick up a medication order form from the school nurse or the office.
Please make sure that all immunizations are up to date and the verification is on file at the school office.

Wellness and HealthKids need physical activity to build strength, coordination, confidence, and to lay the groundwork for a healthy lifestyle. School-aged kids should have many opportunities to participate in a variety of activites, sports, and games that fit their personality, ability, age, and interests. Incorporate physical activity into the daily routine. From household chores to an after-dinner walk, keep your family active every day. You will see a difference in them. Thank you students for bringing the canned foods. |
